I'm an outdoor enthusiast who cannot get enough sports. I enjoy many activities including kayaking, snowboarding, and playing and watching sports
Some of my favorite sports to play are basketball, volleyball, softball, soccer, kickball, and floor hockey. When the weather traps me inside I like to play Super Mario Kart and scrapbook. My family and friends are a huge part of my life. I have many nieces and nephews ranging from 20 years old to 6 years old. During the summer, I live in Mackinaw City and work at a t-shirt shop. On my off days, I like to sight see in northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. When I have time to relax, I like to read a book and listen to the lake splash against the shoreline. |
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a major in mathematics and a minor in physical education from Central Michigan University and my Master in Arts in Educational Technology from Michigan State University. I teach mathematics at Bronson Jr/Sr High School in Bronson, MI. My teaching responsibilities range from remedial middle school math to Trigonometry and Statistics depending on the school year. My work in my master's has encouraged me to be more innovative to help my students gain deeper understandings of how math applies to their lives. Outside of my classroom duties, I coach 7th grade volleyball and 8th grade girls basketball. I am also a class advisor for the Class of 2020 and was an advisor for the Class of 2016.
